Dean Shareski is a teacher, speaker and consultant who works with schools and teachers looking to leverage technology for learning. In 2010 he was the ISTE outstanding leader. He's been blogging for 7 years and it consistently ranks among the top educational blogs. As Community Manager for Discovery Education, Dean strives to share his excitement and passion for education to build awareness for the need to integrate technology into learning.

Dr. Alec Couros is an Associate Professor of educational technology and media at the Faculty of Education, University of Regina. He has given hundreds of workshops and presentations, nationally and internationally, on topics such as openness in education, networked learning, social media in education, digital citizenship, and critical media literacy. His graduate and undergraduate courses help current and future educators understand how to use and take advantage of the educational potential offered by the tools of connectivity.

George Couros is Division Principal of Innovative Teaching and Learning for Parkland School Division. George has greatly enjoyed working with schools, both presenting and consulting on moving forward and creating innovative environments for all learners in the community. He has worked extensively with students, parents, educators, school administration, central office administration, as well as school trustees. George believes that by creating an open and connected environment in our schools, we are creating learning opportunities for our students that will help them be leaders in the future, as well as today.
