All Adults have a right
to continuing education.

The purpose of continuing education is to
facilitate integration into society and the world of work, and more particularly to help adults enter, remain in or return to the job market; to enable them to increase their autonomy and to contribute to the economic, social and cultural development of their community. Continuing education has a significant part to play in this task.

In a labour market that is undergoing rapid structural change, adults are finding that it is essential to have the necessary academic, language, social and vocational skills currently sought by employers.
