When collecting information, we need to be very careful not to copy the exact ideas from what we have read. This is called plagiarism. To avoid plagiarism, use the following chart. Write down the name of the source or Internet page you are getting the material from. Then, for each idea you want to remember, write down only five words in a note box. You can fill in as many note boxes as you need to.
