Arundel Nature Centre can accomodate guests in 70 cots and 8 beds.
The farmhouse includes a cosy living room with a functional fireplace, kitchen with sink and refrigerator, and a small washroom including a bath. (Picture) This building has separate areas for males and females. Includes showers, sinks and toilets. The structure is situated between the two dormitory areas and is easily accessible. (Picture) The Main Building is a converted barn. The dining hall will seat 60 to 70 people, and there is a full commercial kitchen, a barbecue, a covered outdoor work or eating area for up to 48 people. (Picture)
The Katimavik Log Cabin contains one large room for workshops and recreation.
The
Sugar Shack houses a complete maple syrup operation that uses a
modern method of line hook-ups with the trees in the sugar bush.
A wood-fuelled old fashioned type evaporator provides a tradional hands-on
experience of maple syrup production.
This small solar greenhouse is used to start spring seedling for our on-site cooperative organic teaching garden.
