WHAT TO BRING

CLOTHING:

  • Sun or rain hat in summer,w arm toque in winter.

  • Clothes in layers i.e. T-shirt, long shirt, sweater, vest, wind/rain jacket.

  • Change of clothes for inside and out, and special sports activities.

  • Clothing to keep sun off and the bugs out. (pale color or white)

  • Several warm mitts for winter. Have a DRY change available.

  • Long underwear for winter and cool seasons.

  • Short and long pants for summer, wind pants for winter.

  • Several DRY socks –wool for heat- cotton for summer.

  • Feet - waterproof boots, sport shoes, slippers for inside


    (Think head to toes: am I ready for the
    hottest, coldest and wettest weather possible? Activities are outside most of the time)

FOR SLEEPING
Pillow and pillow case, sleeping bag, or sheets and blanket. Pajamas (We provide mattress.)

KEEPING CLEAN
Toilet articles and towel. Bug juice spring/summer, Sun screen year-round. Personal medication with letter of permission and directions to use. Medicare card.

FOR RECREATION
Musical instruments, board games, and art material. We have a VCR and CD stereo. A day pack and water bottles are helpful for outings. A good book is always a best friend.

FOR LEARNING
Items that your leader or teacher has suggested.

LEAVE AT HOME
VALUABLES (ELECTRONIC GAMES, RADIOS ETC.) BREAKABLES, KNIVES.
