September 25, 2008. Jordan Cardinal wins the inaugural Laurier Fall Classic while Francis Perron finished tied for third. Matthew Jablonski from Selwyn House School was the runner-up. The first ever Laurier Fall Classic held at LSHS's home course, Golf Ste-Rose, was a stroke play tournament with students from Selwyn House School, Rosemere HS, Westwood HS and LSHS participating.
