Cross-Country Running

2010-2011 Season

IN THE FALL

The Mc Caig Cross-Country Running Team has been participating every year  at the Sport-Étudiant Regional Race in October with more than 45 schools in the region since 2006.

Students sign-up voluntarily to practice at lunch hour 2 to 3 times a week in the month of September and use the TERRY FOX RUN at the end of September as a preparation for the big day.

 Students of grade 4 complete a 1.5 km race, while students of grade 5 & 6 complete a 2km race.

IN THE SPRING **NEW**

The Mc Caig Halo Running Team   participates  in the spring  at the GMAA HALO Race in May held on Mount Royal- Beaver Lake in Montreal. Over 70 schools participate in this event
