Offerings The Laurentian CEMIS would be happy to advise, assist or consult any teacher or school within its boundaries. Traditionally, the CEMIS is mobile in nature, i.e., with a few exceptions, all consultation, training and modeling are done at the teachers' location. Nevertheless, large group sessions at the Laval Adult Education Center can be arranged. This year, the CEMIS' offerings include but are not limited to: The WebQuest & Treasure Hunt: Models for Integration Searching the Internet in an Educationally Effective Manner The Virtual School Newspaper: The Beginning Web Design in the Classroom: Teachers Web Design in the Classroom: Students Introductory Classroom Multimedia: Teachers Introductory Classroom Multimedia: Students Introduction to the Internet Introduction to Computing This, as in years past, is also available to assist teachers with more complex Internet learning projects such as the Canadian Heritage Interactive Journey or similar Grass roots projects.
