COMMUNITY BREAKFAST 2016
Rosemere High School
held the cheque presentation for the Children's Wish Foundation and
we are SO proud to announce that we raised $15,028!! None of this
would have been possible without the hard work of the students and
staff and community who got involved. Our wish child, Kiara, will be
able to go on her dream trip to Hawaii as a result!
With the amazing efforts of some parents and staff, 100% of the
breakfast food costs were covered by local businesses and donations
from our community which ensured that 100% of the breakfast ticket
revenue was donated to the Foundation. On top of this, we benefited
from some very generous corporate and personal donations,
significant raffle tickets sales and numerous successful student
fundraising activities.
This event requires considerable organization and could not take
place without the dedication of our staff and the help of our many
student volunteers and their supervising teachers. On behalf of
Rosemere High School and The Children’s Wish Foundation, we thank
each and every one of you who contributed to this very special
event.
Please note that in December 2017 we will hold the 10th edition of
The Community Breakfast and MerryFest at Rosemere High School.
Following this event, we should pass the $100k contribution to The
Children’s Wish Foundation. It promises to be an extraordinary
occasion. Details to follow in the fall.
