The Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board is seeking to fill the above-mentioned position of Analyst for the School Organization and School Affairs department. The Coordinator of School Organization and School Affairs
The position of analyst encompasses, in particular, responsibility for the analysis, development, coordination and control of systems, methods, procedures and programs pertaining, among others, to administrative organization and operations, communication structures, data processing by computer or by other means and the rational use of school board resources.
• Conducts the necessary analysis to meet the department and/or organization needs in terms of information
• Presents statistics and prepares documents or reports
• Coordinates and ensures the implementation of processes, ensures that deadlines are respected and proposes the required corrective measures
• Collaborates with all stakeholders to deliver solutions to ensure sound decision-making organizational efficiency
• Creates best practices procedures to increase support effectiveness
• Configures and adjust application settings to meet specific organizational needs
• Conducts regular data verifications in schools to ensure data accuracy and compliance of procedures
• Provides advice and support to department, school and center administrators for the use of GRICS pedagogical software
• Conducts and participates in training and coaching of support staff
• Acts as a resource and a liaison during critical periods when additional support is required
• Performs all other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor
• Ability to efficiently manage your time, to prioritize requests and to work effectively under pressure

• A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate specialty, notably computer science;
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience with GRICS pedagogical software (notably GPI – JADE – TOSCA);
• Excellent knowledge of French and English, spoken and written;
• Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving abilities;
• Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook;
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of remote access processes to support users over the phone, of customer support processes and practices, and of troubleshooting methods;
• Experience with organizing and conducting training sessions
To be determined in accordance with the Collective Agreement for the non-teaching professionals as well as the practices and policies of the school board (min. $48,689 – max. $83,462). In addition to salary, you will enjoy a range of fringe benefits, such as:
