Mother Teresa Junior High School and Laurier Senior High School are pleased to introduce a HOCKEYOPTION for the 2012-2013 school year. Our school team ispresently part of the GMAA hockey federation: Our students/ school teamcompete against other schools in the greater Montreal area.
The program consists of three sessions per week; two on-ice practices and one session of off-ice physical training with Athletic Republic at Guimond Sports Complex. Our season consists of at least 15 games plus playoff games. The program includes transportation to the arena after school three times per week as well as well as transportation to our home arena (GuimondSports Complex) on gamedays. Students have a supervised study hall until 5:30p.m. Certified coaches and training staff provide the necessary tools for our student athletes' success and improvement. Our teaching professionals encourage and motivate student academic achievement and performance off the ice. All MTJHS teachers communicate with our coaching staff with regard to student behavior and academic achievement.
