MEDIA-ENRICHED MUSIC PROGRAM

Themedia-enriched music program at MTJHS is a two year course that provides a favourable environment to develop creativity and originality .

Thestudents learn how to play the keyboard as their main instrument. A very important facet of this media-enriched music program is to enlighten the intricate complexities of technology. The students have access to a unique lab of 32 Apple G5 computers and they use software such as, iWeb, iMovie iDVD and Garageband to learn and create music. Singing, and djembe are also an intricate part of the media-enriched music     program.

MEDIA-ENRICHED ART PROGRAM

This two year media-enriched art program gives students the opportunity to understand and interpret reality, then transpose it into symbolic    language.  Combined with selected activities which include basic techniques of drawing, color and research, this approach allows students to express their emotions, acquire self-confidence and develop their artistic capabilities. Projects are designed to trigger students’ imagination and creativity as well as invention and innovation.
