Student Information

Dress Code

All  students of Pinewood community will dress neat, clean and in appropriate fashion.Students must respect the dress code as approved by the Governing Board

White or Navy top (short or long sleeves )
Navy blue bottom (no jeans)
Shoes of choice (each child must have separate indoor shoes during winter months)
Red Cardigan (optional)  

Merit Awards

Deserving students will be nominated every month to receive the respect medal, pin and certificate, based on the criteria announced beforehand. These students shall have the honour of attending a pizza party with the principal and vice-principal at the end of the term.

A photo of the student with their teacher will be placed outside the office.

Good Deed Tickets 

All students shall have the opportunity of accumulating these tickets through exemplary behaviour, improvements, good deeds and so on. These tickets can be placed in the Good Deed Box for a draw at the end of each month at a general assembly. 

Student of the Term

One student in each class every term shall be selected for this award for academic achievements. A photo will be taken with their teacher and placed outside the office.

At the end of the year, one student per class shall be selected for the Student Of The Year Award.  

Bus Safety

Be punctual.
Wait calmly at bus stop on the curb.
Get on and off the bus in an orderly manner.
Stay seated throughout the whole ride.
Speak quietly.
No eating or drinking allowed.
Keep the bus clean.
RESPECT THE BUS DRIVER.

Library

All library books are to be returned on due date.
Books not returned will result in a letter sent home to parents.
Cycle 1 are entitled to borrow 2 books.
Cycle 2 and 3 are entitled to borrow 3 books.
Please never attempt to fix a library book.

 Remember...

Every term there will be a prize draw for those students who return there books on time every week.
