Home Reading - 15 minutes everyday where someone reads with your child.

Through out the year, students will have the following projects to be completed at home. A letter will be sent home explaining each and the due date.

• Who do you see book - A book with everyone's photo in it. Please help your child write something about themselves to share with the class.

• The Guessing Box - Each day a different student will take home the guessing box. Inside it they must place an object that is special to them and write (or a parent may write) 3 clues to help the class guess what the object is.

• Dinosaur Museum - Every year we create a dinosaur museum in our classroom. Each student will make a dinosaur at home from readily available materials. i.e. toilet paper tyrannosaurus, Rice Krispies square brontosaurus, play dough triceratops. Be as creative as possible!

• Wizard of the day - Your child will become a wizard in front of the class. To aid them, please help them find a simple science experiment to show to us. (Baking soda and vinegar, static electricity, etc.) If you need help finding an several ideas that you and your child can choose from.
