There are many household items that you might be about to throw away that we could use. Here are some ideas of objects that we could use in our classroom.

Old radios, printers, toasters, anything electronic or mechanical. We have screw drivers and pliers to take these items apart to see what they look like inside.

Paper towel rolls, Styrofoam trays, Kleenex boxes, cereal boxes or anything we can use to construct things with

Plants, all kinds and sizes

Books, magazines, catalogues, newspapers

Board games

Fish - Aquariums, pumps, filters, heaters, plants (both live and plastic) or anything else fish related
