A UNIQUE LEARNING EXPERIENCE

The school is small.  The entire staff, which consists of seven full-time teachers, two part-time counsellors, one part-time secretary and one part-time caretaker, know each student and are involved in the educational project. As a result, the atmosphere is friendly and supportive, and the treatment of all students is consistent. Phoenix breaks down barriers and eliminates bureaucratic restrictions. The staff is concerned about a global education, not just the instructional objectives of each subject area.  The student regular timetable allows for diversity, which includes:

Student government meetings

Reading and Study-Hall classes

Integrated career planning

Cultural field trips

A bi-weekly guest-speaker programme,

    when the community comes to the school

Career days
Visits to Cegeps and professional schools
