Dear SWLSB Families,

We have received official notification from our unions regarding a collective strike action from December 8 to December 14, 2023. This strike action includes teachers, professionals, support staff, and maintenance workers who are part of the Common Front.

Due to this strike, please note that from December 8 to 14:

• All SWLSB schools, centres, and administrative offices will be closed.
• Daycare services will not be available.
• There will be no transportation services.
• All planned school activities, events, or meetings will be canceled.

Regular school activities will resume on Friday, December 15.

We appreciate your continued understanding and cooperation.

Should there be any changes to the situation, we will advise you accordingly.
