Rosemère, March 23, 2026 – The results of the March 22, 2026, by-election for Commissioner in Electoral Division 9 have been confirmed. The by-election was held following the resignation of the Commissioner for this division, in accordance with provincial legislation.
Electoral division 9 includes Genesis Elementary, Jules Verne Elementary, Saint-Paul Elementary, Saint-Vincent Elementary, Phoenix Alternative, and CDC Pont-Viau.
The election results are as follows:
Stephanie Brandone 23% of votes
Polizoi Christodoulakis 35% of votes
Marie-Thérèse Désormeaux 3% of votes
Lorenzo Lagatta 39% of votes
Mr. Lorenzo Lagatta has been elected as School Board Commissioner for Electoral Division 9.
These results were confirmed by Ms. Lorraine Sperano Gauthier, Returning Officer for the 2026 by-election.
