PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board (SWLSB) will hold a public assembly as part of the consultation process regarding the geographical area to be serviced by its new school in Saint-Lin-Laurentides scheduled to open for the 2024-2025 school year.
At the assembly, members of the public will be provided with information as to the consultation timeline and the proposed school zone changes of surrounding communities and, notably, of the following elementary schools:
Franklin Hill, Joliette, Laurentia, Pierre Elliott Trudeau, Pinewood and Rawdon
The assembly will be held on the Zoom platform on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 7:30 p.m.
Members of the public who wish to participate must register on the SWLSB website at www.swlauriersb.qc.ca no later than Monday, November 28, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. All participants who have duly registered will receive a Zoom link by email the day of the public assembly.
A question period will follow the presentation to allow members of the public to submit their questions during the assembly.
Throughout the consultation period, information will be made available on the SWLSB website in the Council of Commissioners menu found at the top of the welcome page, under “Public Consultations”.
